What’s the procedure for ordering?
Get things started by checking us out online, our online gallery offers a multitude of styles to give you an idea of what is available. Don’t see exactly what you are looking for? Give us a call our cake specialists are on staff Monday- Saturday and would be more than happy to assist you!
Suppose I want a “broken clock” cake for my brother who’s always late or a designer purse cake for my daughter. ? Can LaSalle create cakes like I see on TV?
Absolutely! take a look at our online cake gallery, featuring some of the coolest cakes you’ll ever see. We absolutely love the challenge of working with our customers. We’re never happier than when we get a call from a customer who says, “When I brought out the cake, people went crazy!”
How much notice do I need to order a cake?
We require 14 days for specialty cakes, please call for more information. 48 hours notice for most cakes, and 3-6 months for wedding cakes. But keep in mind that we are known for making magic happen, despite the most challenging deadlines! If you are unsure, give us a call, we can review options that fit with your time frame.
If you’re crazy busy – or maybe you just like living on the edge – we always have extra cakes on hand for you. We’ll put your words on a ribbon and lay it across your cake. “Happy Birthday, Joe!” on a fruit flan or “Congratulations, Sue!” on a tiramisu.
What is the difference between butter cream or white frosting?
Of course, you should let your taste decide, but factor this in. Butter cream is made from an Italian meringue butter cream, and must be refrigerated. White frosting is sugar-based and doesn’t need to be kept cold. Oh, and did we mention that both are delicious?
Is a layered cake the same as a tiered cake?
A layered cake is different from a tiered cake. Take a look at the examples below to see the difference.

Do you offer gluten or nut-free options?
We unfortunately do not sell gluten-free or nut-free bakery items. While we do take precautions against nut contamination, we cannot guarantee. We do not recommend ordering if a nut allergy is a concern as we are not a nut free environment.
